In 1955, the Amos brothers founded the American Family Life Assurance Company in Columbus, Georgia. They understood firsthand the financial hardships that can result from a serious injury or illness.
With medical bankruptcy being the number one cause of bankruptcy in the United States, Aflac exists to protect people's paycheck and savings accounts.
